“ The overall design indoors is very nice and cozy. I like the concept of ordering your beer at the separate counter (sometimes there's a small line) next to the bar instead of everyone crowding the bar area. If you like farmhouse beers, barrel-aged or sour(ish) beers, that's their specialty, all very good! But they actually make some decent IPAs too. Some rotating food options. Good for groups. Kids and dogs allowed and you'll see plenty around. ”

“ This is slightly off the beaten path (but you can tell it's a local favorite.) A local told me about this place and I'm told the Chicago-esque style pizza they serve is darn good too. My buddies didn't want to try it but it came out looking damn good. My Belgian ale was really good. The patio is pretty small with just four or five tables but inside there is lots of seating. Place was pretty packed on a Friday afternoon. ”
“ I tried the 11.7 alcohol by volume stout and I have to say that's my new favorite here in town. That's a good amount of booze right there. Doesn't hurt they have a authentic Detroit style pizza inside the venue albeit from a separate business,, which essentially is a fancy for focaccia topped gluten affair that is far more interesting than your standard crusts that are stuck at sea level. Order the vegan pie, which is 24 dollars, and you can place that request with your beer order all at once. The service was prompt. Ambience is hiding because there are just giant slabs of nicely lacquered wood that service tables. I do feel for them a bit because it seems like birds really like to fly into this place and get caught in their atrium. So some of the staff have to play the role of wildlife wrangler mid shift. When I was there, some little sparrow was caught in the vaulted ceiling and trying to escape through the windows up there. Eventually, the bird flew down and tried to exit another window, but apparently they so fastidiously clean their Windows each day the bird thought it was an open portal and tried to exit through a glass panel. Dang ol birdie knocked himself out. The bird was literally laying on the ground stunned from the concussion, Luckily they were able to get the bird outside to safety. Quite excite! ”
